The Church and Justice for First Nations Peoples

  

In this week’s PEACEcast week Dave talks to interesting people Brooke Prentis & Tanya Riches from Common Grace’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Justice Team about the Church’s role in working towards justice for Australia’s First Nations peoples. Brooke Prentis is an Aboriginal Christian Leader who is a descendant of the Waka Waka peoples who resides in Brisbane. Brooke is a Chartered Accountant by profession, a member of the Public and Contextual Theology Strategic research Centre for Charles Sturt University and involved in a number of Christian organisations including as Aboriginal spokesperson for Common Grace, board member of TEAR Australia and volunteer coordinator for the Grasstree Gathering.
