Emotional responses to ecological change

Do we have the courage to face the realities of our time and allow ourselves to feel deeply enough that it transforms us and our future? Does hearing about climate change and ecological degradation fill you with anxiety, grief, anger, guilt, helplessness or dread? Do you sometimes find yourself looking away because these topics are too distressing? For the June monthly discussion night at the rectory, Byron Smith lead a conversation about our emotional responses to ecological and climate crises and how the good news about Jesus might open new possibilities for honesty and action.

About the group: Our Friday night discussion nights aim at fostering open and honest discussion about questions concerning all of life. We seek to invite questioning through engagement with art, culture, philosophy, theology, in the context of hospitality.
