Thursday 14 April at 7.45pm: Tenebrae (Latin for darkness), a quiet service reflecting on the last words of Jesus before his death. As the service proceeds, the lights and candles are extinguished, ending in silence and darkness; until we depart in silence.
Friday 15 April at 9am: Good Friday: Facing the dark without flinching. As we step into the shadow of the Cross, we acknowledge our participation in the suffering of Jesus, and accept the resurrecting power of the Cross.
Easter Saturday April 16 at 10am: Something New – Easter Egg Hunt. We have some real treasure to find – “The Secret to Eternal life”. Crafts, stories, Easter Egg Hunt and morning tea for everyone included.
Easter Sunday 17 April, 9:30am: Easter Celebration. The Extraordinary Celebration of Resurrection invites us all to embrace life beyond what we can see, living in the promises that Jesus left us – New Life – In all its abundance!
