Join us on Sunday 24th of February at 3pm for our first Something New for the year. We’re talking about WELCOME – that in Jesus we’re all welcomed by God. There’ll be dominos, silkscreen printing, chemical reactions, afternoon tea and the story of the early church.
Join us on Thursday February 28th for our next PEACEtalks (a monthly night devoted to political, ethical, artistic & cultural engagement). Dave Taylor will speak on ‘Making the World Strange: the Church’s intellectual vocation’. The evening starts at 6:30pm with a light meal, the session will begin at 7pm with a talk and Q&A followed by supper and conversation.
Join us for a three part series examining the foundation, heartbeat and purpose of Christian community in the gracious acts of God. Each week we will take a different movement (IN, UP, OUT) and explore how God’s surprising good news shapes the contours of our common life.
We’re excited to announce a renewal of focus for each of our services in 2019 in light of congregational priorities, local opportunities and staff changes. Our services are now a 10am traditional Holy Communion service and a 3pm intergenerational Afternoon Service. More details on each of the services and the coming month program below.
St George’s is pleased to welcome two new team members to our staff team – Jaimie Laverty & Brooke Prentis – while we’ve also recently farewelled Geoff Broughton for his year on secondment.
